Burmese python is a large nonvenomous python species found in many tropic and subtropic areas. Lethargic and slow moving even in its native habitat, they exhibit timidity and rarely try to attack even when attacked. These snakes are carnivore animals and feed on mammals, birds and reptiles indiscriminately, but seem to prefer mammals.
Burrowing nematode is a parasite of plants, and it is a pest of many agricultural crops. It is an especially important pest of bananas and citrus, and it can be found on coconut, avocado, coffee, sugarcane, other grasses, and ornamentals. It is a migratory endoparasite of roots, causing lesions that form cankers. Infected plants experience malnutrition.
The chaffinch is a common and widespread, small passerine bird in the finch family. It breeds in much of Europe, across Asia to Siberia and in Northwest Africa. It prefers open woodland and often forages on the ground. It is known to spread disease such as the Trichomonas gallinae parasite.
Chinese soft-shell terrapins
The Chinese soft-shelled turtle is well adapted to aquatic environments, including brackish swamps and marshes. These turtles are predominantly carnivorous and the remains of fish, crustaceans, mollusks, insects, and seeds of marsh plants have been found in their stomachs.
The chukar partridge has an extremely large indigenous range, spanning countries from Eastern Europe to China, Russia and Africa. It feeds on seeds, grasses, bulbs, stems, fruit and leaves. Its head, chest and rear are grey and it has white cheeks and a white throat surrounded by a black band.
