This annual symposium draws South Africa’s top weed and biocontrol scientists, as well as invasion biologists, under one roof to discuss topical issues on the management of invasive alien plants.

The symposium is relevant toland managers for national parks, nature and game reserves, road and railway agencies, forestry and agriculture, the nursery and horticultural industry, policy, planning and advisory officials, weed and invasive species researchers, environmental consultants, herbicide manufacturers and distributors, as well as University students interested in invasive species management and conservation.
